Is it that time already? As of last week, the last celebrity on our watch list we put together in August welcomed their child, so let’s first go over what names were chosen.
1. Katie Price
She welcomed a son named Jett Riviera in October 2013.
2. Peter Andre
He welcomed a daughter, in January 2014, and talked about potential names for her here. The shortlist appears to be Poppy, Alexandra, Elizabeth, Amelia and Rose.
3. Frankie Sandford
She welcomed son Parker in October 2013.
4. Zara Phillips
She went the same route as her brother when naming new daughter Mia Grace in January 2014.
5. Alesha Dixon
She welcomed Azura Sienna in October 2013.
I’ve now picked a further five celebs to form our watchlist for the first quarter of 2014:
1. Simon Cowell (JANUARY 2014)
The King of talent TV welcomes his lovechild soon, and whilst the half-brother is called Adam, there’s always a chance Simon could throw us a curveball.
2. Tamara Eccleston (MARCH 2014)
Her sister Petra welcomed a daughter named Lavinia last year, so it should be interesting to see what Tamara will name her first born.
3. Nadine Coyle (FEBRUARY 2014)
Unbelieveably, Nadine is the first of the Girls Aloud group to be expecting, whereas girl-group rivals The Saturdays now have 3 babies between them. She’s a former pop-darling, whom have a tendency to pick noteworthy names – and Nadine is also fiercely proud of her Irish background so we could see a heritage pick.
4. Assisi Jackson (FEBRUARY 2014)
She’s the granddaughter of rock legend Mick Jagger, which means we could see something daring. It would be great to see another nouveau place name such as Assisi.
5. Kerry Katona (MARCH 2014)
This lady has had more than her fair share of ups and downs and she’s expecting baby #5 later on this year with new beau George Kay. She already has daughters Molly Marie and Lilly Sue by ex-husband Brian McFadden, as well as Heidi Elizabeth and Maxwell Mark by her 2nd ex-husband Mark Croft. Whilst it’s likely she’ll use another contemporary favourite, you never know what a new partner might throw into the mix.
