Ever heard of Mumsnet? Some call it one of the most influential sites here in the UK – the politicians were all clambering over each other in a race to interact with the mums there.

  1. I’m fine with Gray and Grayson, but I find Grayling so unattractive. There are some really lovely name in that list, although some of them aren’t really unusual. I think Scarlett, Hope and Mercy had gone quite mainstream.

  2. Amazing that people think Scarlett is unusual, mind you I’m always seeing parents say they’re looking for a “unique name, such as Xavier”.

    My favourites from the list are Perdita and Lysander, runners-up, Isis and Wolfgang.
